Mama Luma aims to use fashion as a tool to broaden the horizons of little girls. We hope to help them improve their magination by showing them when it comes to dreaming, the sky is not the limit, it is just the beginning. While playing with all those colors and patterns, we want them to feel how liberating fashion is.
As a brand we want to be liberating as well and not just for the little girls who are the future but the women who are the moment. Mama Luma is a female dominated business. We know how important it is for women to be economically independent so we provide employment opportunities for over 100 amazing, talented, visionary women.
We'll keep using our power and sources to support the ideal of a strong, well-educated, self-conscious generation. That's why Mama Luma partnered with Develop Africa to donate 4% of our quarterly sales to kids in Africa, where girls do not have access to these resources. Each girl deserves to feel worthy as they are and we'll be here to remind it on every step of the way.
